1 YEAR ELECTRIC FIRE WARRANTY<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Be Modern Ltd (the \u2018Company\u2019) provides a one year warranty in respect of the electric fire appliance. Please consult your model instructions for further details regarding warranties and extended warranties if applicable to your chosen model.<\/p>\n

  1. The one year warranty applies to:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    • All \u2018Products\u2019 in the ranges manufactured by the \u2018Company\u2019 (but subject to exceptions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      below); where<\/p>\n

        \n
      • The \u2018Product\u2019 has been purchased and installed within the UK and in respect of: –<\/li>\n
      • The initial installation and in favour of<\/li>\n
      • The original Purchaser<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        1. Proof of purchase must be retained by the Purchaser<\/li>\n
        2. The one year Guarantee does not apply to:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \n
          • Damage or inferior workmanship practices while the \u2018Product\u2019 is being installed.<\/li>\n
          • Damage caused by the misuse of the \u2018Product\u2019 or where normal standards of care and use have not been complied with.<\/li>\n
          • Damage through a malfunction or an inadequately installed electric fire.<\/li>\n
          • Damage or defects due to, misuse, accident or unauthorised alterations.<\/li>\n
          • During the twelvemonth after the \u2018Product\u2019 has been supplied, the Guarantee covers the making good (whether by repair or replacement at the company\u2019s discretion) of defects arising from defective manufacture of materials of \u2018Product\u2019 covered in paragraph (1), all at no cost to the Purchaser.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            This Guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.<\/strong><\/p>\n

            On requiring service contact the retailer who supplied your product who will assist you and advise you, as necessary.<\/p>\n

            1 YEAR SURROUND\/FIREPLACE WARRANTY<\/strong><\/h2>\n

            Be Modern (\u2018the Company\u2019) provides a 1 year warranty in respect of the surround\/fireplace (\u2018the Product\u2019) ranges subject to the following terms and conditions.<\/p>\n

            In the event of service being required, the purchaser should initially contact the retailer\/installer who supplied the product and they will assist and advise you further as necessary.<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. The 1 year warranty applies to all Products in the ranges manufactured by the Company where:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              (i) The Product has been purchased and installed within the UK<\/p>\n

              (ii) It relates to the initial installation as carried out for the original purchaser<\/p>\n

              This Guarantee is non-transferable<\/p>\n

                \n
              1. Proof of Purchase must be retained by the Purchaser for the period of the Warranty.<\/li>\n
              2. A full and detailed inspection must have been carried out on all component parts by the installer and\/or the end user prior to the start of installation, to ensure there was no damage or manufacturing defects.<\/li>\n
              3. The 1 year warranty does not apply to:<\/li>\n
              4. Any damages caused to the Product as a direct result of incompetent installation<\/li>\n
              5. Damage caused by misuse of the Product or where normal standards of care and use have not been complied with<\/li>\n
              6. Damage or defects due to misuse, accident or unauthorised alterations<\/li>\n
              7. Damaged or broken component parts reported after installation<\/li>\n
              8. Any other obvious defects reported after installation<\/li>\n
              9. LED bulbs<\/li>\n
              10. During the 1 year period following Product purchase, the Warranty covers the making good (whether by repair or replacement at the Company\u2019s discretion) of the Product only for claims arising from defective manufacture and\/or materials of the \u201cProduct\u201d covered in Point 1, on the proviso that:<\/li>\n
              11. The Product has been fully inspected prior to installation<\/li>\n
              12. The Product has been installed as per Be Modern recommendations<\/li>\n
              13. Our Liability is limited to the free replacement of the parts affected<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                IMPORTANT<\/strong>: Product only suitable for non Be Modern and FLARE gas fires up to 4kW<\/p>\n

                This Guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.<\/strong><\/p>\n
