Celebrating 60 Years of Be Modern: A Night to Remember!

We recently marked a momentous milestone in Be Modern’s history—our 60th anniversary! Established in 1964 in the North East of England by Walter Bloodworth and Sanford Gaudi, our company has proudly upheld the legacy of British Manufacturing for six decades.

The celebration was held at the South Shields Football Club, and it was an unforgettable evening filled with joy and nostalgia. A huge thank you to Carl, Joanne, and the entire team for hosting us at such a fantastic venue, central to the local area we have called home for 60 years!

Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to AG Events for their incredible decorations. Alistair, Liv, and the team truly outdid themselves in creating a festive atmosphere that perfectly captured the spirit of the occasion.

We were also treated to delicious catering by Scream for Pizza and The Little Fishy Mobile Caterers. Their mouth-watering offerings kept everyone fuelled and happy throughout the night!

DJ Carl Dixon provided the soundtrack to our celebrations, ensuring the dance floor was never empty. His music choices kept the energy high and the smiles wide.

A highlight of the evening was recognising our dedicated employees who are celebrating long service anniversaries. Their loyalty and hard work have been instrumental in our success. Additionally, a touching tribute was paid to our late founder, Walter Bloodworth, with the unveiling of a custom-made memorial plaque in his honour. It was a poignant moment that reminded us all of the commitment and vision that have guided Be Modern through the years.
